Will This Bumper Fit My Bronco?

The DV8 Offroad OE Plus Bronco front bumper, FBBR-03, fits 2021–2026 Ford Bronco two-door and four-door models, excluding Raptor. It works with the factory plastic or metal skid plate and retains the front parking sensors. Factory fog lights do not transfer.

DV8's current listing stops at 2026, so confirm compatibility for a 2027 Bronco before ordering. This is the original OE Plus bumper, distinct from the FBBR-06 V2 with its different adaptive cruise control arrangement.

Who Is This Bumper Best For?

This bumper suits Bronco owners who want a steel replacement that stays close to the factory body lines. It adds dedicated recovery attachments and lighting mounts while allowing you to reuse the original skid plate.

It is not winch-compatible. That helps explain its slim layout and makes it a different choice from the Spec Series winch bumper. If a winch is central to your build, select a bumper designed to mount one rather than treating this as a winch platform.

Factory Styling with Three-Piece Construction

The original OE Plus uses a three-piece assembly with steel body panels, steel mounts and supports, and a micro-texture black powder-coat finish. The center cutaway pattern follows the grille styling used on Badlands, Wildtrak, and First Edition Broncos.

The shape keeps the bumper close to your Bronco's front end rather than projecting a large winch cradle ahead of it. This makes the OE Plus worth considering when the factory-style appearance is as important to you as the added lighting and recovery provisions.

Which Lights Fit This Bumper?

A center mounting position accepts a 20-inch dual-row light bar behind the grille-pattern cutaways. The cutaways allow light through while placing the bar behind the bumper face. Two 3-inch pod positions sit on each side, for four pods total.

Lights are sold separately. Match their brackets and mounting dimensions to the bumper before choosing a harness. Because the factory fog lights do not fit, decide which aftermarket lights you want as part of the bumper installation rather than assuming the original lamps will carry over.

Camera, Sensors, and ACC Compatibility

Your Bronco's factory parking sensors transfer to the new bumper. Sensor-hole plugs are provided for vehicles without those sensors. The bumper is compatible with the factory camera system, although DV8 notes that part of the bumper is visible in the front-camera image.

Adaptive cruise control requires relocating the module with the appropriate bracket, sold separately. This is an important difference from the OE Plus V2, which can retain ACC in the bumper with a suitable single-row lighting arrangement. Choose between the versions with your Bronco's equipment in mind.

Recovery Mounts and Factory Skid Fit

Reinforced clevis mounts accept 3/4-inch D-ring shackles, adding designated front recovery attachment points. Shackles and other recovery equipment are separate from the bumper's mounting provisions.

The bumper clears both original plastic and metal front skid plates. You can keep that part of your existing setup rather than automatically purchasing another skid. If your Bronco has an aftermarket skid, check that specific combination instead of assuming the factory-skid statement covers it.

How Does This Bumper Install?

DV8 estimates about 1.5 hours for the bumper installation and calls for help lifting the assembly into place. Additional light wiring or ACC relocation can increase the time required for your Bronco.

Review the original OE Plus installation guide before starting. Confirm your sensor positions and hardware inventory, and arrange any relocation equipment before removing the original bumper. The guide is specific to FBBR-03, so use it rather than the V2 instructions.

Auxiliary lights, shackles, wiring accessories, and the ACC relocation bracket are separate purchases. The factory skid plate is reused, not included as a new replacement.
