It is a styling and equipment choice distinct from the Spec Series rear bumper, which specifically provides D-ring mounts. If designated rear recovery attachments are a priority, compare that feature before choosing your bumper.

Tube Construction and Rear-End Layout

Steel tubing forms the main visual structure, with steel plate used in the assembly. The bumper has a micro-texture black powder-coat finish and CNC-etched logo detailing. The tube layout gives your Bronco a different rear profile from the MTO or Spec Series plate bumpers.

Welded-in zip-tie tabs provide places to secure accessory wiring. Use those tabs to organize the harnesses for the rear lights rather than routing wiring loosely across the openings. Confirm clearance around the hitch and other equipment during final alignment.

Will a 37-Inch Spare Clear?

DV8 specifies clearance for up to a 37-inch spare mounted on the OEM tire carrier. That describes the space above the bumper; it does not increase the carrier's load rating or establish that every wheel-and-tire combination is suitable for the factory carrier.

A larger spare can cover the third brake light. DV8 recommends a brake-light extension to retain full visibility with a 37-inch tire. Check the light, tailgate movement, and actual tire position when planning the complete spare-tire setup on your Bronco.

Which Rear Lights Fit?

The bumper provides two mounting positions for 3-inch light pods, one toward each side. These let you add rear-facing lighting for trail use according to the lights and wiring arrangement you choose.

The pods are separate purchases. Choose compatible housings and mounting brackets, and plan how they will be switched before installation. Mounting provisions alone do not include the lights, harness, or electrical connections needed to operate them.

Parking Sensors and License-Plate Wiring

Broncos with factory parking sensors require the separately purchased MCFSNSR-01 sensor kit for installation. Plugs are supplied for the sensor holes on vehicles without the feature. Identify your Bronco's sensor equipment before removing the original bumper.

The installation guide also covers license-plate relocation and its light wiring. The bumper's main mounts bolt on without cutting the vehicle structure, but that does not make the entire job wiring-free. Follow the guide's plate-light connection and harness-routing steps so the plate remains illuminated after relocation.
