Fitment

These Morimoto Bronco headlights, part of the XRGB LED series, are built for the 2021 Ford Bronco through the 2026 Ford Bronco. That covers the Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and Everglades trims, plus the 2022 and later Bronco Raptor, which makes these Bronco Raptor headlights too. Morimoto built and tested these headlights on US-spec Broncos. Fit on Broncos sold outside the US is not guaranteed.

Design

The XRGB keeps the same overall shape as the factory Bronco headlight, but the inside is different. Each headlight uses a bright dual-projector setup and a daytime running light that changes color. A gloss black ring frames each projector, and the turn signal glows amber. The housing is tough plastic with a UV-resistant lens, so it holds up to years of sun.

Daytime Running Lights

You control the daytime running light color from your phone using a free Bluetooth app. Instead of one fixed color, you can pick from a wide range. White and amber are the only two colors that stay street legal in North America. The Bronco Raptor comes from the factory with an amber daytime running light, so setting the XRGB to amber gives any Bronco trim that same Raptor look.

Visibility

Low beam output jumps 151% higher than a stock Bronco headlight, and high beam output jumps 86% higher. The beam also spreads wider, so you get more light along the edges of the road and further out in front of the truck on high beam.

Street Legality

The projector lenses inside the XRGB meet SAE, DOT, and FMVSS108 rules for on-road brightness and glare. The full headlight is not DOT approved as a unit, because the color-changing daytime running light falls outside DOT's rule that daytime running lights stay one fixed color. Keep the daytime running light set to white or amber for road use, and check your local laws before running any other color.

Electronics

Installation plugs straight into the factory Ford connector, so there is no cutting or splicing. Every function routes through that one connector: daytime running light, turn signal, parking light, low beam, and high beam. You won't get error codes, flickering, hyper-flashing, or radio static from the install.

Installation

The Bronco's electrical system uses a more complex digital signal than older trucks, so most owners have a shop handle the headlight install rather than doing it in a driveway. Once in, the headlights sit flush with the stock mounting points and won't void your factory warranty, since taking them back out is just as easy as putting them in.
