Ford Bronco Side Step Fitment
These DV8 OE Plus Ford Bronco side steps are built for 2021-2027 2-door Broncos. They replace the factory rock rails or sliders and add a wider, easier step for daily entry and exit.
Best For
2-door Bronco owners who want an easier step into the cab, better grip in mud or rain, and a cleaner side profile without the weight of full rock sliders.
Side Step Design & Grip
Steel tube supports carry textured steel step plates with a bike-pedal-style tooth pattern for grip. The design is aimed at daily use, especially on lifted Broncos where the cab is harder to climb into.
Side Steps vs. Rock Sliders
These are side steps, not frame-mounted rock sliders. They add light protection along the rocker area, but they are built around entry access first. If you expect the side of the Bronco to land on rocks, a true rock slider is the better choice.
Door & Tire Fitment
The 2-door version clears tires up to 38 inches. It does not fit 4-door Broncos, and the factory sliders or rock rails must be removed before installation.
Installation
Installation uses included hardware with no drilling required. DV8 lists about 1 hour for installation.

Questions
If I upgrade to rock sliders later, do these need to come off first?
Yes. Rock sliders and side steps share the same mounting position. You run one or the other, not both.
Do these hold up if I step on them at an awkward angle from a lifted height?
Yes. Steel construction handles real-world entry and exit loads including off-axis weight placement.
Do these look aftermarket or blend in as factory from a distance?
They read very close to factory. The OE Plus design is built to look factory-adjacent. Most people won't notice the difference at a glance.
Will these squeak or make noise after install?
Not at the correct torque spec. Re-check mounting hardware if you notice noise after install.
Do these hold up to light trail use or just road driving?
They handle light trail contact better than the factory plastic steps. Not rock sliders, but the steel is more durable in off-road conditions.
Do these work with the Sasquatch Package?
Yes. Compatible with Sasquatch-equipped 2-door Broncos.
Can a body shop touch up the finish if one gets scratched?
Yes. Steel steps can be painted or touched up by any body shop. The powder coat finish is standard automotive prep.
How long does this take to install?

To start a return, email contact@broncoforge.com for an RMA number. Returns without an RMA will not be accepted.
Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging ($25 minimum purchase). Customer covers return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Custom/special-order, sale/clearance, and installed or worn items are not eligible for return.
