What exactly is the factory Modular bumper and how do I know if I have one?
The factory Heavy-Duty Modular bumper is the top-tier steel bumper option, standard on trims like Black Diamond and Badlands and available as an optional upgrade on others. It has visible removable end caps and exposed mounting bolts across the face. It does not fit the Capable steel bumper (a single smooth stamped piece) or the plastic bumper. If you're unsure which bumper you have, use the live chat with your year and trim.

If I'm upgrading to an aftermarket bumper soon anyway, should I bother with this?
No. An aftermarket bumper will have its own light bar mounting. This is for owners committed to keeping the factory modular bumper.

Does adding this bar and a light bar look proportional on the front end?
A 20-inch bar on the Modular Bull Bar is proportional to the bumper width. It reads as intentional, not over-accessorized.

If the bar takes a hit on the trail, does damage transfer to the bumper?
Can transfer force on a significant hit. For regular rock contact, a full aftermarket bumper is the more robust option.

Does it affect factory fog light positions?
No. Factory fog lights at their existing positions are not affected.

Does it affect hood clearance or latch operation?
