Will This Bumper Fit My Bronco?

The DV8 Offroad FS-15 Bronco rear bumper, RBBR-02, fits the 2021–2026 Ford Bronco and includes Bronco Raptor applications from 2022. It retains the factory hitch and backup sensors while adding a higher-clearance rear profile, recovery mounts, and flush-mount light positions.

Raptor fitment has conditions: DV8 specifies removing the rear mud flaps and using the LPBR-03 license-plate bracket because the included bracket does not fit Raptor. A 2027 application needs confirmation; the current manufacturer listing ends at 2026.

Who Is This Bumper Best For?

Choose the FS-15 when your Bronco's rear clearance is a priority. Its raised middle section and tapered wings distinguish it from a bumper chosen mainly for a broad rear face or open tube styling.

It also suits owners who want rear recovery attachments and flush-mounted lighting in the same assembly. Those features make the FS-15 a practical option to compare with the MTO rear bumper, with the shape and license-plate arrangement helping distinguish the two.

Raised Center and Tapered Wings

The bumper's center sits higher than the factory rear bumper, and its ends taper to provide room around trail obstacles. Steel plate and reinforced supports form the structure, finished in micro-texture black powder coat.

This geometry is the defining feature of the FS-15. Consider the shape around the corners and middle of your Bronco's rear end when comparing it with other bumpers, particularly if you regularly navigate ledges or uneven trail exits.

Recovery Points and Flush-Mount Lights

Two reinforced clevis mounts accept 3/4-inch D-ring shackles. They provide designated recovery attachment points without relying on an auxiliary-light mount or another part of the bumper for that job.

Two positions accept 3-inch flush-mount LED pods. With suitable wiring, the lights can provide rear trail illumination or operate with the reverse lights. The pods, shackles, and wiring accessories are separate purchases. Choose the light's mounting style along with its size so it fits the bumper cutout.

License Plate, BLIS, and Raptor Requirements

The supplied license-plate arrangement sits above the bumper and includes an LED plate light. Broncos equipped with Blind Spot Information System, or BLIS, require the LPBR-03 plate solution to retain that feature according to DV8.

Raptor owners also need LPBR-03 because the supplied bracket does not fit that model, along with removal of the rear mud flaps. These are fitment requirements, not cosmetic recommendations. Plan the correct bracket before removing your Bronco's factory bumper.

Will a 37-Inch Spare Clear?

DV8 lists clearance for up to a 37-inch spare on the OEM carrier. It recommends a third brake-light extension to preserve full light visibility with that tire size.

That clearance statement concerns the space over the bumper. It does not raise the carrier or tailgate's weight capacity. Check your actual wheel-and-tire combination, carrier arrangement, plate visibility, and tailgate movement as part of the complete installation.

How Does This Bumper Install?

DV8 estimates about 2.5 hours for installation. The bumper uses bolt-on mounts, retains the factory rear sensors, and requires plate-light wiring. The guide also describes trimming certain sensor-bezel tabs for the thicker bumper material.
