Q: If the bull bar takes a hit on the trail, does damage transfer into my factory Capable bumper?
A: The bar attaches to the factory bumper mounting area. A significant hit can transfer force to the bumper. For regular rock contact, a full aftermarket bumper is the more robust solution.

Q: Is this the same bull bar as the one for the factory steel bumper?
A: No. Each bull bar is specific to its bumper type. The Capable bull bar (LBBR-09) is for the Capable bumper. The Factory Steel bull bar (LBBR-06) is for the factory steel bumper. Not interchangeable.

Q: Does adding a light bar here affect hood clearance?
A: No. Mount height clears normal hood operation.

Q: Does this work for both 2-door and 4-door Broncos?
A: Both door configurations. Bumper-specific fitment is what matters, not the door count.

Q: If I plan to upgrade to a full aftermarket bumper later, should I bother with this now?
A: Probably not. An aftermarket bumper will come with its own light bar mounting. This is for owners committed to keeping the factory Capable bumper.

Q: Does it affect factory fog light positions?
A: No. Factory fog lights at their existing positions are not affected.

Q: Does it affect approach angle?
A: Minimally. The tube design keeps the profile low.

Q: How long does this take to install?

Add a Light Bar to Your Bronco Capable Bumper in About an Hour

The DV8 Offroad Capable Bull Bar is built for 2021-2026 Ford Bronco owners running the factory Capable Steel Bumper who want grille protection and a 20" light bar mount without replacing the entire front end. The Capable Steel Bumper is standard on the Badlands and Sasquatch Package. This bar bolts directly onto it using existing mounting points.
