Plan the Complete Tailgate Setup

Compare this part with the equipment already fitted to your Bronco's tailgate. Tire diameter alone does not describe the space available: wheel offset, carrier spacers, hinge accessories, and the tire's actual position can change clearance. Work through the complete arrangement before tightening the final hardware. Open the tailgate carefully through its travel and check for contact with the tail light, rear body, bumper, and neighboring accessories.
