2021-2026 Ford Bronco LED Tail Lights (Red Lens, Set) | Morimoto XB

Fitment

Morimoto built this XB LED tail light set for the 2021 Ford Bronco, the 2022 Ford Bronco, the 2023 Ford Bronco, the 2024 Ford Bronco, the 2025 Ford Bronco, and the 2026 Ford Bronco. Every non-Raptor trim is covered, from the Base and Big Bend up through Badlands, Wildtrak, and Everglades, in both 2-door and 4-door body styles. The Bronco Raptor uses a different rear fascia and is not compatible with this housing. These tail lights connect to the factory Ford multi-pin connector, so there is no cutting or splicing anywhere in the install.

Design

The housing sits noticeably lower and flatter than the factory unit, giving the back of the Bronco a cleaner, more finished look. Dual rows of 3D TIR optics run through each light and handle both the brake function and the turn signal, while a wraparound parking light optic traces the outer edge and stays lit at night. This particular set uses Morimoto's red outer lens, which keeps a familiar, traditional taillight color on the truck while still showing off the layered LED optics underneath once the lights are on. The housing is PP plastic and the lens is UV-resistant polycarbonate, built to hold up under sun and road grime the same way the factory unit does. Each light ships at right around 20.5 inches long and weighs a bit under a pound, so shipping damage is rarely an issue.

Electronics

Reverse output is white. Brake and parking output is red. The turn signal changes depending on what tail lights came on the truck from the factory: Broncos that left the factory with incandescent tail lights show a red turn signal through this housing, and Broncos that came with factory LED tails show amber instead. Two magnet-mounted resistors are included in the box and mount behind the bumper to prevent hyperflash and dash error codes once the new lights are wired in. Morimoto also sells an optional LED Backup Boost Bar that mounts to the license plate frame and adds close to 2,700 additional lumens of reverse light. Bronco Forge does not currently carry that accessory as a separate listing, so buyers who want it will need to source it through Morimoto directly.

Installation

Two people can usually get this set installed in under an hour with basic hand tools, since the factory tail lights unplug at the same multi-pin connector these plug back into. No trim panels need to come off and no factory wiring gets cut anywhere in the process. Every Morimoto tail light is tested by a third-party lab for DOT and SAE compliance before it ships, and this set carries Morimoto's five-year warranty against defects. Morimoto replaces the following Ford part numbers with this housing: JW7Z-13A588-CA, JW7Z-13A589-CA, M2DB-13B505-B, and M2DB-13B552-B, so cross-referencing against a dealer parts lookup confirms the same fitment Bronco Forge lists here.
