This spline drive lug nut kit is built for the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 Ford Bronco. Each kit has 24 lug nuts, which is enough for four wheels with six lugs each. The thread size is 14x1.5, the same size as the wheel studs on every sixth-generation Bronco. The lug nuts have a conical seat, so they fit wheels built for a conical lug nut.

Why Spline Drive Lug Nuts

A standard lug nut has six flat sides for a socket to grab. A spline drive lug nut is smaller and round, with thin grooves cut around the outside. It needs a matching key to turn it. Because the lug nut is slim, it fits into the small lug holes found on many aftermarket wheels. A regular socket may not fit into those holes at all.

The grooved shape also makes the lug nuts harder to remove without the key. That gives your wheels a bit of theft protection. Keep the key in your glove box so you always have it for a flat tire.

Two Finishes

The kit comes in Black or Chrome. Black blends in with dark wheels and gives a clean, low-key look. Chrome stands out and pairs well with milled or machined wheel accents. Both finishes are closed-end lug nuts. The closed end covers the tip of the wheel stud to keep out water, dirt, and road salt.

Two Lengths

Pick the length that matches your wheel. The Standard length is 1.38 inches long. The Long version is 2.00 inches long and has more room for thread inside.

Aftermarket wheels often have a thicker mounting pad than factory wheels. A thicker pad uses up more of the wheel stud. The Long lug nut helps the nut grab more threads on those wheels. As a simple check, the lug nut should turn onto the stud at least as many full turns as the stud's width in millimeters. For a 14mm stud, that means at least 14 full turns before the nut is snug.

Fitment

These lug nuts fit any 2021 through 2026 Bronco, on both the 2-door and 4-door, and on every trim. The only thing that must match is the wheel. The wheel needs a conical lug seat and lug holes sized for a spline drive lug nut. Every THRET Offroad wheel sold on this site uses a conical acorn and spline style lug seat, so these kits bolt right up.

Do not use conical lug nuts on a wheel built for a flat seat or a ball seat. The seat shape must match, or the wheel will not clamp tight to the hub. If you are not sure which seat your wheel has, check the wheel maker's specs before you order.

What Comes in the Kit

Each kit includes 24 lug nuts and a spline key. The key has a hex end that fits a standard 3/4-inch or 13/16-inch socket. That lets you turn the lug nuts with a torque wrench or an impact gun.

Installation

Start each lug nut by hand for the first few turns so the threads do not cross. Snug them down in a star pattern, working across the wheel instead of around it. Then torque each lug nut to the spec listed in your Bronco owner's manual. Use a torque wrench for the final pass instead of an impact gun.
