Fitment

This kit is built for the Ford Bronco from model years 2021 through 2026. It covers every trim except the Raptor, including the Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and Everglades. Both two-door and four-door Broncos work with this kit. The Bronco Raptor uses a different front and rear fascia, so its headlight and tail light openings are shaped differently, and this kit does not fit that trim. Every part in this kit is built for left-hand-drive trucks sold in the United States.

Headlights

Morimoto builds this kit around two different headlight choices, and picking between them comes down to how the daytime running light looks and whether the light stays street legal in that mode. The White DRL headlight uses a plain white daytime running light that turns on automatically with the truck, plus a bi-LED projector for the low beam, high beam, turn signal, and parking light. This version is DOT and FMVSS108 compliant, meaning it meets the federal lighting standard for a daytime running light and is legal to drive as it comes on public roads.

The XRGB headlight uses the same bi-LED projector housing but replaces the plain white daytime running light with a color-changing one. A phone app called Happy Lighting connects to the headlight over Bluetooth and lets the driver pick any color for that daytime running light, and it comes with a gloss black bezel around the projector instead of the standard trim. Because a colored daytime running light falls outside the federal lighting standard, the RGB function on this headlight is not DOT or FMVSS108 legal when it is set to a color other than white. The turn signal on the XRGB headlight also shows amber instead of white. Beyond the color options, the XRGB headlight pushes more light down the road, with output rated at 151 percent higher on the low beam and 86 percent higher on the high beam compared to the stock halogen headlight it replaces. Both headlight choices use the same Ford multi-pin connector that the factory harness already has, ABS plastic housings, and a polycarbonate lens with a UV-resistant coating from Momentive to keep the lens from yellowing over time. The lens optic inside both headlights comes from Kuria Optic.

Tail Lights

The tail lights in this kit come in a smoked lens or a red lens, and both use the same housing, wiring, and light output underneath. Each tail light plugs into the factory Ford connector and uses SSC LED sources in place of the old halogen bulbs. Reverse light output is white on both lens choices. The housing is built from PP plastic with a polycarbonate lens, also treated for UV resistance so the finish holds up in direct sun over the years. Choosing between the smoked and red lens comes down to how dark the housing looks in daylight, not the color of the light output, which stays the same either way.

Electronics

Every part in this kit uses the factory Ford wiring connector, so there is no cutting or splicing into the truck's harness. The White DRL and XRGB headlights both cover the same set of functions: daytime running light, turn signal, parking light, low beam, and high beam. The XRGB headlight adds Bluetooth control through the Happy Lighting app on top of those functions, letting the color of its daytime running light be changed from a phone. The tail lights add brake, parking, turn signal, and reverse functions through the same style of plug-in connector.

Installation

Both the headlights and tail lights in this kit mount in the stock locations using the factory hardware points, and each one plugs directly into the connector already built into the truck's harness. No change to the body or the wiring is needed for either light. Because the White DRL and XRGB headlights bolt in the same way, and the smoked and red tail lights bolt in the same way, the install steps stay the same no matter which combination of options is picked at checkout.
