This set is made to bolt onto the factory steel front bumper that Ford installs on the Bronco. A Bronco fitted with an aftermarket or modular front bumper does not have the same mounting points, so this bracket set only lines up correctly on a truck that still has the factory steel bumper in place. This is not a statement about which bumper design is better. It is simply where the mounting holes and bracket geometry line up. Anyone shopping for this set should check what bumper is currently on their Bronco before ordering, since a truck running a different front bumper will need a bracket built for that specific bumper instead.

Design

Each bracket in the pair is powdercoated stainless steel finished in matte black. The coating is built to shed sun, mud, and road salt for years without flaking, chipping, or rusting through. Morimoto engineered this bracket pair to carry three of its own 4Banger pods across the front face of the Bronco's factory steel bumper, giving the truck a clean triple light look instead of a single center mounted pod. The set ships with a full stainless steel hardware pack, covering every bolt, nut, and washer the bracket mount itself needs. Fully assembled, the bracket set measures about 13 inches long, 12.5 inches wide, and 4 inches tall, and weighs 6 pounds. This is a brackets only listing. The box does not include LED pods, a wiring harness, or relays. Buyers supply their own Morimoto 4Banger pods and handle the wiring separately, or step up to the version of this kit that already has the harness and relays built in.

Compatibility

This bracket pair is built around Morimoto's own 4Banger pod, so it holds that pod's shape and mounting pattern without an adapter or spacer. It is not designed as a universal mount for other brands of fog light pods. Anyone who already owns a different pod should confirm the bolt pattern matches before ordering rather than assuming a fit. Because the mounting points come from the factory steel bumper itself, the bracket pair installs the same way regardless of Bronco trim, as long as that factory steel bumper is still on the truck. This holds true whether the truck is a two door or a four door Bronco.

Installation

Installation uses the mounting points already built into the factory steel bumper, so there is no drilling or cutting anywhere in the job. A driveway or garage install with basic hand tools typically takes under an hour for the bracket pair alone.
