Move your Bronco's third brake light into the center of the spare tire and add rear-facing trail lighting in one assembly. The Turn Offroad Center-Mount 3rd Brake Light and Chase Light combines four red brake LEDs, a reverse light, and two chase lights in a CNC-machined billet aluminum housing. Designed for 2021-2026 Ford Bronco 2-door and 4-door models, excluding Raptor.
What Does This Center-Mount Bronco Chase Light Do?
The LB3-CM-BR is more than a replacement third brake light. Four integrated red LEDs provide a center brake-light signal when you slow down. A separate reverse light adds illumination behind the spare tire when you select reverse. Two rear-facing chase lights help following vehicles spot your Bronco during dusty group rides and low-visibility off-road driving. These functions are built into a single center-mounted unit rather than several separate light pods.
Why Mount the Third Brake Light in the Spare Tire Center?
The factory third brake light sits above the Bronco's spare tire. This center-mount alternative puts the light assembly at the spare tire's center using the tire-carrier mounting location. The result is a different rear appearance with the brake, reverse, and chase lights grouped together. Before ordering, check your spare wheel's center opening and any aftermarket tire-carrier hardware against the manufacturer's mounting instructions; wheel and carrier configurations vary.
How Is the Housing Built?
Turn Offroad uses CNC-machined forged billet aluminum for the light housing. The compact assembly groups the different light functions in one rigid mount. It is designed for exposure to dirt and demanding off-road conditions. Unlike a simple third brake-light extension bracket, this is a complete lighting assembly with additional reverse and chase-light functions.
Will It Fit My Ford Bronco?
Turn Offroad lists the LB3-CM-BR for 2021-2026 Ford Bronco models other than Raptor. Both 2-door and 4-door configurations are within the stated fitment. It is not listed for Bronco Sport. Raptor is specifically excluded; do not assume a different harness will make this kit compatible. Fitment for the 2027 model year has not been confirmed by the manufacturer.
Does Installation Require Drilling?
According to Turn Offroad, the assembly uses original mounting points and requires no drilling or cutting. The exact electrical connections, wire routing, and spare-wheel clearance should be checked against the manufacturer's instructions before installation. After fitting, test the brake, reverse, and chase-light functions separately, and check that the spare tire and tailgate operate without interfering with the assembly.
Does It Include Flashing Chase-Light Patterns?
The manufacturer offers an optional flasher module for selectable chase-light patterns. The Turn Offroad LB3 Chase Light and 3rd Brake Light Flasher Module (LB3-M1FM) is a separate accessory; do not assume it is included with LB3-CM-BR. Verify the module's compatibility with this exact center-mount system before ordering it. Flashing chase lights may be restricted on public roads; use auxiliary flashing functions only where permitted.
What Should I Check Before Buying?
Confirm your Bronco is a 2021-2026 non-Raptor model and inspect your spare tire center and tire carrier for mounting clearance. If your Bronco has a modified rear camera, aftermarket carrier, unusual wheel offset, or other accessories near the spare, confirm those details before purchase. The assembly is designed to add rear lighting, but its compatibility with every modified spare-tire setup has not been established.
