The Baja Designs A-pillar ditch light kit mounts a pair of LED lights at the base of the windshield on the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 Ford Bronco. It also fits the 2022 through 2026 Bronco Raptor. Ditch lights light up the sides of the trail and the area right in front of your fenders, where headlights do not reach well.

Five Light Choices

Every kit comes with two lights, one for each side. Pick the light that fits how you drive. The lumen number in the menu is the output of each light.

The Squadron Sport puts out 3,162 lumens per light. The Squadron Pro puts out 4,095 lumens per light. These are the square Squadron lights.

The XL Sport puts out 3,162 lumens per light, and the XL Pro puts out 4,095 lumens per light. These are the round XL lights. They put out the same light as the matching Squadron, in a round shape.

The XL80 is the largest light in the group. It puts out 9,022 lumens per light.

Beam Patterns

The Squadron and XL kits come with a Spot beam. Spot throws a narrow beam of light far down the trail. The XL80 kit comes with a Driving/Combo beam. Driving/Combo lights up both close and far, so you get a wide spread with good reach.

Built for Rough Trails

The lenses are hard coated polycarbonate. The housings are anodized aluminum, and the bezels are billet aluminum. The brackets and hardware are stainless steel. The lights are rated IP69K, so they are waterproof and can handle a pressure washer.

Fitment

The brackets mount at the A-pillar on both 2-door and 4-door models. Baja Designs says the brackets do not need any cutting or drilling. Because they mount to the body and not the bumper, the kit works with any front bumper.

Toggle Switch or Factory AUX Switches

Each kit comes with one of two wiring options. The Toggle Switch version includes a relay wiring kit and a switch you mount in the dash. Baja Designs' install guide calls for a 3/4-inch hole in the dash to mount that switch.

The Upfitter version connects to the factory AUX switches in the overhead console above the mirror. You turn the lights on and off with those buttons, so there is no extra switch to mount. Only pick Upfitter if your Bronco has the factory AUX switches. Look for a row of AUX buttons on the ceiling above the mirror. On the Bronco Raptor, Baja Designs notes the AUX1 and AUX3 wire colors are switched, so follow the Raptor steps in the guide.

Road Use

These are off-road lights. Keep them off on public roads unless your local laws allow them.

Installation

The kit includes the two lights, the mounting brackets, the wiring, and the hardware. Plan on about an hour to mount the brackets and run the wiring. Aim the lights after install so they point where you want them.
