Fitment

Morimoto builds this 4Banger ditch light kit for the 2021 Ford Bronco, the 2022 Ford Bronco, the 2023 Ford Bronco, the 2024 Ford Bronco, the 2025 Ford Bronco, and the 2026 Ford Bronco. The stainless steel brackets bolt to the factory A-pillar mounting points near the windshield, a location that exists on every trim regardless of bumper style, so this kit installs the same way whether the truck has the Standard bumper, the Capable bumper, the HD Modular bumper, or the Bronco Raptor's own front end. No drilling, cutting, or trim modification is needed anywhere in the install.

Design

Each kit includes a pair of Morimoto 4Banger LED pods, a step up from the 2Banger in chip count, with three LED emitters per pod instead of two. The HXB tier runs Osram HX Boost chips and produces 3,000 raw lumens and 42 watts stabilized per pod. The NCS tier runs Nichia chips instead, producing 1,350 raw lumens at 15.6 watts, a lower output at a lower price, using the same housing, optics, and mounting hardware as the HXB tier. Both tiers come in white or yellow output, and both are offered across four beam patterns: Combo, Spot, SAE Wide, and Flood. Combo blends width and distance for everyday driving. Spot throws a tight, focused beam built for long-range visibility. Wide spreads light across the width of the road with a cutoff pattern tuned to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. Flood covers the truck's immediate surroundings in every direction, better suited to camp light or low-speed use than long-range visibility. The housing is die-cast aluminum with a powder coat finish, the lens is Makrolon polycarbonate, and the pod carries an IP69K rating for dust and high-pressure water resistance. Each bracket is laser cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, then powder coated.

Electronics

Every pod plugs into an integrated Deutsch DT 2-pin connector and accepts 9 to 18 volts DC. The included wiring kit carries a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, an inline 20-amp fuse, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a push-button switch with an amber LED backlight so it stays visible on the dash at night. The bracket stem includes built-in cable routing clips to keep the wiring run from each pod down into the engine bay tidy rather than zip-tied on as an afterthought.

Street Legality

Street legality depends on which beam pattern gets ordered. Both the HXB and NCS versions of the Wide beam pattern have been independently verified by Calcoast ITL as SAE J583 compliant, meaning either one can legally serve as a fog light on public roads when mounted and aimed correctly. The Spot and Combo beam patterns meet SAE J581, the standard for an auxiliary high beam, which most states treat as off-road or supplemental equipment rather than something to run during normal street driving. The Flood beam pattern carries no street-legal certification at all and is built for off-road, camp, or work-light use rather than road use. Some localities require auxiliary lights to be covered when not in active use; Morimoto sells an optional blackout cover that clips over the pod for this purpose, though Bronco Forge does not currently carry that cover as a separate listing.

Installation

Installation lines up with the Bronco's existing A-pillar mounting points, so the whole job stays modification-free. Morimoto backs this kit with a lifetime warranty.
