Fitment

Morimoto builds this 2Banger ditch light kit for the 2021 Ford Bronco, the 2022 Ford Bronco, the 2023 Ford Bronco, the 2024 Ford Bronco, the 2025 Ford Bronco, and the 2026 Ford Bronco. The stainless steel brackets bolt to the factory A-pillar mounting points near the windshield, a location that exists on every trim regardless of bumper style, so this kit installs the same way whether the truck has the Standard bumper, the Capable bumper, the HD Modular bumper, or the Bronco Raptor's own front end. No drilling, cutting, or trim modification is needed anywhere in the install.

Design

Each kit includes a pair of Morimoto 2Banger LED pods in one of two performance tiers. The HXB tier runs Osram HX Boost chips and produces 2,000 raw lumens and 70,800 candela per pod once warmed up, the stronger of the two options. The NCS tier trades some output for a lower price while still using the same housing, optics, and mounting hardware. Both tiers come in white or yellow output, and both are offered across four beam patterns. Combo blends width and distance for everyday driving. Spot throws a tight, focused beam built for long-range visibility, with the HXB version rated to reach roughly 700 meters. Wide spreads light across the width of the road with a cutoff pattern tuned to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. Flood covers the truck's immediate surroundings in every direction, better suited to camp light or low-speed use than long-range visibility. The housing is die-cast aluminum with a powder coat finish, the lens is Makrolon polycarbonate, and the pod carries an IP69K rating for dust and high-pressure water resistance. Each bracket is laser cut from 304 stainless steel before powder coating.

Electronics

Every pod plugs into an integrated Deutsch DT 2-pin connector and accepts 9 to 18 volts DC. The included wiring harness carries a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, an inline 20-amp fuse, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a push-button switch with a yellow LED backlight so it stays visible on the dash at night. Power draw sits at 24 watts stabilized per pod.

Street Legality

Street legality depends on which beam pattern gets ordered, and it's worth being direct about that rather than treating the whole kit as one blanket answer. The Wide beam pattern has been independently verified by Calcoast Labs as SAE-F compliant, meaning it can legally serve as a fog light on public roads when mounted and aimed correctly. The Spot and Combo beam patterns meet SAE J581, the standard for an auxiliary high beam, which most states treat as off-road or supplemental equipment rather than something to run during normal street driving. The Flood beam pattern carries no street-legal certification at all and is built for off-road, camp, or work-light use rather than road use.

Installation

Installation lines up with the Bronco's existing A-pillar mounting points, so the whole job stays modification-free. Morimoto backs this kit with a lifetime warranty.
