The Diode Dynamics SS5 CrossLink windshield light bar kit mounts seven LED pods above the windshield of the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Ford Bronco. It also fits the Bronco Raptor. The seven SS5 Sport pods link together into one bar that sits up high, where it throws light far down the trail and over brush and hills.

Seven Pods Linked Into One Bar

Each SS5 is a 5-inch LED pod. Diode Dynamics joins the seven pods with CrossLink, a one-piece aluminum link that holds the pods in a solid row. Two extra supports keep the bar steady on rough trails. You get the look of one light bar with the output of seven separate pods.

Light Output

This kit uses SS5 Sport pods. Each pod runs at 40 watts. Diode Dynamics measures the white Sport pod at 3,800 lumens and the yellow pod at 3,700 lumens. That adds up to about 26,600 lumens for the white kit and about 25,900 lumens for the yellow kit.

White or Yellow

White is a cool 6000K light that matches most factory LED lights. Yellow is a warm 3000K light. Yellow can be easier to see through in dust, rain, and fog.

Combo Beam

Every pod in this kit uses the Combo beam. The center of each pod has driving optics that send a focused beam far down the trail. The top and bottom have flood optics that spread light wide and close. The full pattern covers 70 degrees wide and 30 degrees tall.

Backlight

Each pod has a backlight that glows around the lens. On the white kit, you can pick from eight colors, including white, red, blue, green, purple, yellow, amber, and teal. You change the color by turning the power off and on. The backlight has its own switch, so you can run it with or without the main beam.

Built to Last

The pods have aluminum housings and polycarbonate lenses. They are rated IP69K, so they are waterproof and can handle a pressure washer. Diode Dynamics tests the pods from -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit, along with shake and moisture testing.

Fitment

This kit fits the 2021 through 2025 Bronco and the Bronco Raptor. It bolts to the factory mounting points on the windshield frame. It will not work with any other part that uses those same mounting points above the windshield, so check your Bronco before you order.

Wiring

The kit is made to run from the factory AUX switches above the mirror. It uses two switches, one for the main beam and one for the backlight. If your Bronco does not have factory AUX switches, the kit includes an adapter wire so you can use a toggle switch instead.

Road Use

These are off-road lights. Keep them off on public roads unless your local laws allow them.

Installation

The kit includes two steel brackets, seven SS5 Sport pods, the CrossLink links, supports, and end mounts, a pod connecting wire set, a heavy duty power wiring kit, and the hardware. No cutting or drilling is needed. Plan on one to two hours for the install.
