The Diode Dynamics SS5 CrossLink grille light bar kit mounts six LED pods across the front of the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Ford Bronco. The six SS5 pods link together into one bar that sits in front of the factory grille. The kit is made for Broncos with the factory steel modular bumper.

Six Pods Linked Into One Bar

Each SS5 is a 5-inch LED pod. Diode Dynamics joins the six pods with CrossLink, a one-piece aluminum link that holds the pods in a solid row. The links can be set straight or in a slight curve. You get the look of one light bar with the output of six separate pods.

Sport or Pro

The Sport kit uses SS5 Sport pods. Each pod runs at 40 watts. Diode Dynamics measures the white Sport pod at 3,800 lumens, so the full kit puts out about 22,800 lumens.

The Pro kit uses SS5 Pro pods. Each pod runs at 90 watts, over double the power of the Sport. Diode Dynamics measures the white Pro pod at 9,600 lumens, so the full kit puts out about 57,600 lumens. The Pro is for drivers who want the most light the kit can make.

White or Yellow

White is a cool 6000K light that matches most factory LED lights. Yellow is a warm 3000K light. Yellow can be easier to see through in dust, rain, and fog. The yellow pods put out a bit less light than the white pods.

Combo Beam

Every pod in this kit uses the Combo beam. The center of each pod has driving optics that send a focused beam far down the trail. The top and bottom have flood optics that spread light wide and close. The full pattern covers 70 degrees wide and 30 degrees tall.

Backlight

Each pod has a backlight that glows around the lens. On the white kits, you can pick from eight backlight colors by turning the power off and on. The backlight works as an accent light when the main beam is off.

Built to Last

The pods have aluminum housings and polycarbonate lenses. They are rated IP69K, so they are waterproof and can handle a pressure washer. Diode Dynamics tests the pods from -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit, along with shake and moisture testing.

Fitment

This kit fits the 2021 through 2025 Bronco with the factory steel modular bumper. It uses mounting points on that bumper setup. It does not fit the Capable bumper or aftermarket bumpers. If your Bronco has a front camera, the bar may block a small part of the camera view.

Road Use

These are off-road lights. Keep them off on public roads unless your local laws allow them.

Installation

The kit includes two steel brackets, six SS5 pods, the CrossLink links and end mounts, a pod connecting wire set, a power wiring kit, and the hardware. The Sport kit comes with a heavy duty wiring kit, and the Pro kit comes with an ultra heavy duty wiring kit for the higher power draw. No cutting or drilling is needed. Plan on one to two hours for the install.
