The THRET Offroad 602 Maze is a cast aluminum beadlock wheel for the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 Ford Bronco. A forged aluminum ring bolts to the outer lip and clamps the tire bead to the wheel. That clamp holds the tire in place when you air down for rocks, sand, or snow. The wheel is drilled for the Bronco's factory 6x139.7 bolt pattern, so it bolts straight on with no adapters.

Three Finishes

THRET Offroad builds the 602 Maze in three finishes. Matte Black/Machined has a flat black wheel with a bare machined ring. Bronze/Matte Black has a bronze wheel with a flat black ring. Machined has a bare machined wheel and ring for a bright metal look.

Size and Offset

The 602 Maze comes in one size for the Bronco. It is a 17x9 with a -14mm offset and 4.4 inches of backspacing. That means a 17-inch diameter and a 9-inch width. All three numbers are listed in the size menu.

Offset is the distance between the center of the wheel and the face that bolts to your hub. A negative offset, like -14mm, moves the wheel out toward the fender for a wider stance. Backspacing is the distance from the mounting face to the inner edge of the wheel. A lower number puts more of the wheel outside the hub.

Tire size, lift height, and your trim's fender flares all change how much room you have. Check those before you order.

How the Beadlock Works

The beadlock ring bolts on with 24 Grade 8 bolts, each 5/16 inch by 1.25 inch. THRET Offroad calls for a crisscross pattern in three passes. The first pass is 10 ft-lbs, the second is 20 ft-lbs, and the final pass is 25 ft-lbs. Do not go past 25 ft-lbs, and do not use an impact gun on the ring bolts.

Re-torque the ring bolts after 50 to 100 miles. Check them again at 200 miles. After that, check them often during trail use and any time you air down.

Fitment

The 602 Maze uses the 6x139.7 bolt pattern that Ford uses on every 2021 through 2026 Bronco. The center bore is 106.1mm, which is larger than the Bronco hub. The lug nuts center the wheel on the hub. Each wheel carries a 3,400-pound load rating. The lug seat is a conical acorn and spline style. The wheel works with factory TPMS sensors, and a center cap is included.

THRET Offroad lists this wheel for off-road use only. It is not DOT approved for street use in most states.

Confirm your offset and tire clearance before you order. Wheels are not accepted for return once a tire has been mounted.

Installation

A shop that works with beadlocks should mount and balance the tires on the 602 Maze. The ring adds weight at the outer lip, so balancing takes more care. Plan on about two hours for a full set, including mounting and balancing.
