Why Wheelbase Changes Rock Rail Fitment
2-Door Wheelbase
The 2-door Bronco rides on a shorter wheelbase, so the distance between the front and rear mounting points on the frame is shorter. A rock slider built for the 4-door body won't reach both mounting points on a 2-door frame.
4-Door Wheelbase
The 4-door Bronco's longer wheelbase means its frame mounting points sit farther apart. A slider built for the 2-door body would leave a large gap unprotected in the middle of the rocker panel on a 4-door.
2-Door Rock Slider Options
Turn Offroad Zero Series Rock Sliders (2-Door)
Built by Turn Offroad at 67 inches long, this slider uses boxed ends and dimple dye reinforcement plates for high clearance and trail protection. It's priced at $599.99 and fits 2021 and newer 2-door Broncos only.
Turn Offroad Step-Slider "Stider" (2-Door)
This 74-inch slider doubles as a step, with heavy-duty tubular steel and dimple dye plating plus a removable step section for extra grip getting in and out. It costs $649 and fits 2021 and newer 2-door Broncos only.
DV8 FS-15 Rock Sliders (2-Door)
DV8's FS-15 Series bolts directly to the frame and requires removing the factory sliders or rock rails first. It's priced at $849.99 and is built exclusively for 2021 and newer 2-door Broncos.
4-Door Rock Slider Options
Turn Offroad Zero Series Rock Sliders (4-Door)
The 4-door version of Turn Offroad's Zero Series stretches to 78 inches to cover the longer rocker panel. It's priced at $699.99 and fits 2021 and newer 4-door Broncos only.
Turn Offroad Step-Slider "Stider" (4-Door)
Built to the same design as the 2-door Stider but sized for the longer body, this step-slider is priced at $899.99 and fits 2021 and newer 4-door Broncos only.
DV8 FS-15 Rock Sliders V2 (4-Door)
DV8's 4-door FS-15 V2 is built for the longer wheelbase and does not fit DV8's pinch weld covers (SRBR-03). It's priced at $1,099.99 and excludes 2-door models and the Bronco Raptor.
Why 2-Door and 4-Door Sliders Aren't Interchangeable
Length Mismatch
Every option above is built to one body length only. A 2-door slider mounted on a 4-door Bronco leaves the rear section of the rocker panel exposed, and a 4-door slider won't line up with a 2-door's shorter mounting points at all.
Mounting Point Spacing
Frame mounting points are spaced to match each body style's wheelbase. Even if a slider could be trimmed to fit, the mounting brackets would no longer land on the frame the way they're designed to.
What About the Bronco Raptor?
The Bronco Raptor's wider track and flared fenders change its rocker panel dimensions compared to standard Broncos. None of the rock sliders above are built for the Raptor, and DV8's 4-door FS-15 V2 specifically excludes it. If you own a Raptor, check with us before ordering standard-width sliders, since they will not fit correctly.
