What Is the 2027 Ford Bronco Filson
Ford and Filson announced the 2027 Bronco Filson on June 3, 2026. It is a collaboration between Ford and Filson, the outdoor gear company that has been making field gear since 1897. The two brands previously collaborated in 2020 on a wildland firefighter concept vehicle. This is the production result of that relationship.
The Filson is not a special edition with a build number. It is a permanent trim in the Bronco lineup, slotting in above the Badlands and below the Raptor. It is built around the idea that a vehicle is gear, and every detail of the truck reflects Filson's materials and design language.
What Powers It
The Bronco Filson runs the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that powers the Bronco Raptor. That is 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. Before the Filson, you had to buy a Raptor to get that engine in a Bronco. The Filson brings it to a truck that is quieter, more refined, and more livable day-to-day than the Raptor.
The cabin is acoustically treated to reduce road and wind noise, which is a direct upgrade over every other Bronco trim. If you have driven a stock Badlands at highway speeds, you know the cabin noise is significant. The Filson addresses that without softening the off-road capability.
What Comes Standard
Every Bronco Filson comes standard with the Sasquatch Package, 35-inch tires, front and rear locking differentials, and high-performance Fox shocks. On any other Bronco trim, those items are individual options that add up fast. The Filson bundles them from the factory.
Interior equipment includes a B&O Sound System, heated and ventilated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a digital rearview mirror that stays usable when the cargo area is packed to the headliner. Filson's influence runs through the grille, wheels, interior trim, and included storage bags. The collaboration is material, not just a badge.
4-Door Only
The Bronco Filson is available exclusively as a 4-door. There is no 2-door Filson. If you run a 2-door, this trim is not for you, but the aftermarket fitment for 4-door Sasquatch-equipped Broncos still applies to any parts you are considering for your build.
What It Costs
Ford has targeted a starting price in the mid-$70,000s. Final pricing is confirmed when order banks open in fall 2026. For context: the 2026 Bronco Raptor starts just over $81,000. The Filson sits below that but well above a loaded Badlands. Given what it comes with standard, the spread from the Badlands is easier to justify than the spread from the Raptor.
There is no MSRP sheet published yet. Treat the mid-$70,000s figure as a directional target, not a final number.
The First Edition
Ford is releasing a First Edition for North America. It comes painted in an exclusive color called Iron Sands Copper Metallic with a serialized console badge. Orders open in fall 2026 and vehicles arrive in showrooms in early 2027.
Limited-allocation Bronco collaborations historically fill order banks within the first few weeks. If you want a First Edition, get your name on a dealer list before order banks open, not after.
What It Means for Bronco Aftermarket
The Filson comes standard with the Sasquatch Package. Every aftermarket part that calls out Sasquatch compatibility applies to every Filson from day one. The 4-door body means rock sliders, side steps, and rear bumpers built for the 4-door Bronco fit. The Raptor-spec engine and Fox shocks tell you exactly what kind of buyer this truck is built for. They are not buying it to leave it stock.
Every DV8 Offroad and Addictive Desert Designs part on BroncoForge that fits the 4-door Ford Bronco with Sasquatch fits the Filson. Bumpers, skid plates, roof racks, and lighting upgrades all apply. If you are building out a Filson and want fitment confirmed for your exact setup before you order, text us at 909-772-8050 and we will handle it.
When You Can Order
Order banks open fall 2026. Vehicles arrive in showrooms in early 2027. Ford is running the Bronco Filson Tour starting July 2026, a multi-city showcase where you can see and touch the vehicle before placing an order. Tour stops have not been fully announced yet.
A limited-edition Bronco x Filson apparel collection is available now, exclusively at Filson stores and Filson.com, as of June 4, 2026.
The Filson is the right move for buyers who want the Raptor engine without the Raptor's track width and price, wrapped in materials that are actually worth talking about. When yours arrives and you are ready to build, BroncoForge carries the parts that fit.
